چکیده
This paper reports a study of the reflectance optical sensors based on graphene under uniform strain. Assuming layer is surrounded by two different semi-infinite dielectric media, generalized Fresnel coefficients are derived as function usual quantities (e.g., constants, incident angles, and strain) anisotropic conductivity. The strain not only changes electronic band structure but also can be employed to tune collective excitations (plasmons) thus monolayers. One most common techniques for plasmon excitation Kretschmann configuration. It observation sharp minimum in reflection coefficient versus angle (or wavelength) curve. Because induces anisotropy conductivity strain-dependent orientation plays an important role manipulate variation energy, which may useful synchronize properties plasmonic devices enhance light-matter interactions.

Plasmon Excitations of Multi-layer Graphene on a Conducting Substrate.
We predict the existence of low-frequency nonlocal plasmons at the vacuum-surface interface of a superlattice of N graphene layers interacting with conducting substrate. We derive a dispersion function that incorporates the polarization function of both the graphene monolayers and the semi-infinite electron liquid at whose surface the electrons scatter specularly. We find a surface plasmon-pola...
متن کاملPhase-resolved surface plasmon interferometry of graphene.
The surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) of graphene reflect the microscopic spatial variations of underlying electronic structure and dynamics. Here, we excite and image the graphene SPP response in phase and amplitude by near-field interferometry. We develop an analytic cavity model that can self-consistently describe the SPP response function for edge, grain boundary, and defect SPP reflection ...

Finding new ways to control and slow down the group velocity of light in media remains a major challenge in the field of optics. For the design of plasmonic slow light structures, graphene represents an attractive alternative to metals due to its strong field confinement, comparably low ohmic loss and versatile tunability. Here we propose a novel nanostructure consisting of a monolayer graphene...

Graphene oxide (GO), an amorphous insulatormaterial, has consists of a hexagonal ring based carbon network having both sp2-hybridized carbon atoms and sp3-hybridizedcarbons bearing hydroxyl andepoxide functional groups on either side of the sheet, whereas the sheet edges are mostly decorated by carboxyl and carbonyl groups [1-6]. These unique properties hold great promise for potential applicat...
